Every year, the streets of Port Alberni come alive with the roar of motorcycles during the annual Toy Run—and this year was no exception. Over 1000 riders rolled into town, bringing energy, excitement, and most importantly, generosity for local kids.
At Citaapi Mahtii, we believe in supporting the people and organizations that support our community. Events like the Toy Run remind us just how fortunate we are to live in such a caring place. Riders travel from as far as Qualicum Falls, making their way along the Alberni Highway before streaming into town. The sight of hundreds of bikes heading down to the quay is nothing short of inspiring.
But beyond the spectacle, the purpose is what matters most. The toys collected during the run go directly to children in our community, making the holiday season brighter for countless families. It’s a tradition that shows the best of Port Alberni: generosity, spirit, and togetherness.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the riders, clubs, and organizations who make this event possible year after year. Because of your efforts, kids in our community will have something to smile about this Christmas.
Right on, Port Alberni—you make us proud.
About the Port Alberni Toy Run
The Port Alberni Toy Run is a BC Registered Society run strictly by volunteers. All of the money we raise is "for the kids" with all funds and toys staying within the Alberni Valley and distributed by the Toy Run membership to our various community partners.
The Toy Run is very well supported by our local First Nations, the business community, the City of Port Alberni and the general public.
